Holi

Our second year attending Holi: The Festival of Colors at the Sri Sri Radha Krishna temple. This year Cameron's little brother Joey came with us and we all agreed that while we could do without the crowds of college students, nothing beats the feeling of throwing a fistful of colored powder in someone else's face.

The aftermath:

Holi is traditionally celebrated in India as a religious holiday, but it also signals the seasonal transition to spring and has some nice nonsectarian symbolism for social harmony. Not only has the weather been gorgeous for the past two years- amazing for late March - it's also a chance to eat dirt cheap, delish Indian food and chill with some llamas (and, if you're so bold, dance in your socks in a beautiful temple). We dig it.
