Simple pleasures this week: visits to both the state botanical center (wetlands, desert landscapes, and models for energy efficiency) and the tail end of the Tulip Festival at the gardens (brightly colored blooms, koi, sunshine and sky); first bicycle ride of the spring season; dogsitting with Cameron; weekend feasting; clean laundry; coming home to two especially sleepy and cuddly kittens.
